Team Access Control & User Roles for Shopify Bulk Orders
Manage team access with Admin, Manager, and Staff roles. Control who can create Sends, change settings, and manage users in Send To Many.
User roles and access control are available on Growth plans and above. Starter and Pay as you go plans do not include this feature. All users on those plans have full admin access.
Role-based access control lets you grant the right level of permissions to each team member. Assign an Admin, Manager, or Staff role to control who can create Sends, modify settings, manage users, and access billing.
Roles and Permissions
Admin
- Create and manage Sends.
- Change all Send preset settings and global configuration.
- Manage users and assign roles.
- Access billing and plan information.
- Full access to all Send To Many features.
Manager
- Create and manage Sends.
- View settings (read-only; cannot change).
- Cannot manage users or billing.
- Cannot create or edit Send presets.
Staff
- Create Sends using existing Send presets only.
- Cannot change any settings.
- Cannot manage users or billing.
- Cannot create or edit Send presets.
Use Admin for core team members handling configuration and planning. Use Manager for operations leads who execute Sends and need visibility into settings. Use Staff for order fulfillment and customer service teams who only create Sends.
Configuration
Set a default role for new users in Settings > Users. When someone first accesses the app from your Shopify store, they're assigned this role automatically.
Manage individual roles in the same location. You can change any user's role at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
Shopify Staff Integration
Roles are tied to Shopify staff accounts. If a user loses staff access in Shopify, their Send To Many access is revoked automatically.
This means you manage team access primarily through Shopify staff settings. Send To Many simply mirrors those staff accounts and adds granular permission roles on top.
