Delete & Regenerate Bulk Orders in Shopify
Start over on a Send by deleting all orders and regenerating from scratch. Retry individual failed orders or rebuild the entire batch.
If something went wrong (wrong products, address changes, Send preset change), you can delete all orders from a Send and regenerate them from scratch. This is cleaner than cancelling orders one by one.
How to Delete and Regenerate
- Go to the Send summary page in Send To Many
- Click View in Shopify to see all orders from that Send
- Select all orders (both recipient and aggregate)
- Use Shopify's bulk actions to cancel all orders
- Return to the Send summary in Send To Many
- Click Regenerate to create new orders
Fresh orders will be generated from your current Send configuration with no remnants of the old orders.
Avoiding Re-Invoicing
When you regenerate, use the Prepaid Invoice Send preset. This tells us payment was already collected (since you already invoiced them for the first attempt), so we won't create a new invoice during regeneration.
When to Regenerate
- Wrong products selected
- Shipping addresses need correction
- Send preset or packaging changed after initial generation
- Customer requested changes before fulfillment began
Next Steps
- Cancel individual orders instead: Cancelling and Refunding Orders
When regenerating orders for a customer who was already invoiced, select Prepaid Invoice as your Send preset. This prevents duplicate invoicing.
