FAQ: Notifications, Invoicing, B2B & Team Access
Answers about notification toggles, upload template sharing, B2B payment terms, deposit collection, user roles, and automatic team member onboarding.
Notifications
Why are there separate toggles for order confirmation and shipping notifications?
Send To Many lets you control order confirmation emails and shipping notification emails independently. However, order confirmations can only be enabled when shipping notifications are also enabled, and they always go to the same target (recipient or gifter). When shipping notifications are suppressed, order confirmations are automatically suppressed too. See Shipping Notifications.
Invoicing and Payment
How do I share an upload template with customers?
Two approaches: share an Excel/CSV file directly with the column headers you need, or set up an inquiry form with a file upload field. With the inquiry form approach, customers submit their recipient list through the form and it creates a draft Send for you to review. See Setting Up the Inquiry Form.
Can I use B2B payment terms and vaulted cards?
Yes. Send To Many integrates with Shopify B2B for vaulted payment methods, B2B catalog pricing, and net payment terms. Shopify B2B is available on all Shopify plans. See Shopify B2B Setup.
Can I collect a deposit or split payment on a large order?
Yes. On Shopify Plus, you can add a deposit requirement directly on the aggregate invoice using B2B payment terms. On any Shopify plan, you can collect an upfront deposit as a separate order, then apply a credit to the aggregate invoice when the Send is ready. See Deposits and Split Payments for both approaches.
Access Control
Can I limit what my team members can do in Send To Many?
Yes. Send To Many supports Admin, Manager, and Staff roles with different permission levels. Staff users have restricted access to settings and may be required to use specific import formats. See Access Control.
How are users added to Send To Many?
We add users automatically when they visit the app in Shopify admin. There's no manual invitation step. On plans with permissions support, you can change the default role assigned to new users in your settings, so new team members get the right access level from the start. See Access Control.
